I have seen that exit to the tomb which is in the far south east but this is an opening in the wall of the mountain which is too high to enter.

You examine the headstone to get the cut scene, then you wait until night and then just keep killing dingbats until the "handful of orcish mailscales" is dropped. then you just give then to the gate gaurd.
