Mission 1 - help needed - Final Fantasy XI :: Dreams in Vana'diel :: Community

Greetings,

I'm a Lv7 Red Mage based in San'doria. Ive been given a mission to kill an Orcish Scout and bring back his axe. Does anyone know where to find one and what level you should be in order to kill one?

look around outside of town for orcs, they all drop orcish axes

You can find Orcish Fodders in East and West Ronfaure. Defeat them until one of them drops an Orcish Axe, and return it to your gate guard.

The orcs range from level 3-8, so to defeat the stronger ones, which won't necessarily drop the axe any faster, I'd recommend being at least level 10-12.

Cheers Guys, thanks for the help. Its just a shame that ive walked all the way to Bastok!!!!! Oh well back I go!!!

When I did this mission I was only at aboujt lv 6-8. So it is possible to do it at the lvs below 10. The orcs that drop it the most are fodders just outside of the west ronfaure gate. I got at least 6 in one hour of lving, maybe more. oh, well good luck.

I believe that axe drops off Orcish Fodder in either East or West Ronfaure. Easily defeated at level 7 RDM.

orc fodders all the way. lvl 7 should be ok. just make sure you check b4 running up to one lol. good luck
