San'doria Missions
There is a mision called "Bat Hunt". I'm sure you guys have heard of it. You got o King Ranperres' Tomb and kill bats that have robbed his grave. Well, what do you haev to bring back to the Gate Guard for proof? I tried a wind that I got off bats near the tomb, but nothing else. What do I need to take back?

Re: San'doria Missions
You need to kill the bats until a "handfull of orcish mail scales" drops and thats what you bring back to the gate gaurd

Re: San'doria Missions
Ah. That comment about them only spawning at night helps me out a lot. I have made 4 attempts so far, naturally all during the day... lol Now I can ealily get it I'm sure. Then on to Save the Children. I was told by one of my ls mates that that mission is easy as long as you can kill 3 orks. Is that true?

Re: San'doria Missions
yeah the mission is rather easy. but the key is that you have to kill the three orcs by yourself. i would say to be around level 19-20 to do it safely because your in a battlefied and there all right there attacking you.

You also have a time limit on killin' the Orcs. And not just any three will do.
you must kill the three orcs in the orcish temple.

i have yet to try w/ taru blm, but at level 10 you should be able to slaughter them. seriously, when ever I level another job and hit 10, i do this quest. it is repeatable, and doing this and the orc axe quest many times gave me enough fame to get the Drain quest when i first entered Chateau d'Orgile

i was also told some jobs can do this at 7. luckilly(or unfortunately) it's uncapped. doing this quest at 19-20 you should kill the mobs in 1 or 2 hits.

well, that's a basic map

edit: and it would have looked half decent if the BB didn't kill my spacing.

also iirc goto Vanadiel atlas or ffxi.somepage.com, they'll show a better map
