help!
Ok I'm On Mission 6, at level 9. How can I get from Bastok to San'Doria without getting killed? (Or to Windhurst if it's easier)

Navigating to Sandy or Windy from Bastok is near suicide. But it can be done. If you really want to travel, first you would need a map of each area. You could buy them at Bastok Markets or Port Bastok.
Once on the field be very alert for Mobs that detect by sight and sound. I think these are the only aggro mobs that you will encounter. These include Goblins which detect by sight, and Quadavs which detect by sound. If you could afford it, you should take some prism powders(invisible) and silent oil(Sneak) with you.
If you can't afford them, well you have a tough journey ahead of you. You can avoid sight detecting mobs by going behind them or around their blind spots. Sound detecting mobs can only be avoided by staying far away from them. If you must pass through them, you have to move when they move, and hope they don't move and stop in the direction you are going, or you are dead.
The only hard parts in getting to sandy or windy is the short tunnel you have to pass on your way which is in the Dunes. There are sand bats. These detect by sound (Just follow the directions I gave you early regarding how to pass these mobs or ask someone to kill 'em). And just after the tunnel there are tough gobs waiting for you (watch and then make your move by following the directions I provided earlier). You would want to stop by selbina along the way to catch your breath and set your home point so you can re-spawn in selbina if you fail (Of course you may want to reconsider because you technically can trap yourself there). Of course there are other places where you can set your home point along the way.
Make sure you travel by day. Otherwise you have to avoid bogys and ghouls (sound detecting mobs) as well as Gobs. Follow the map.
To get Sandy => South Gustaberg => North Gustaberg => Valkurm Dunes => La Theine Plateau => West Ronfaure => Southern San d' Oria
To get Windy=> South Gustaberg => North Gustaberg => Valkurm Dunes => Selbina =>
ship => Mhaura => Buburimu Peninsula => Tahrongi Canyon => East Sarutabaruta => Windurst Woods

You could save your trouble and heart ache by leveling first and getting a Chocobo license. Or you could get an high level escort.

Re: help!
I used to make the trip all the time pre-10, it was one of my favorite pasttimes XD I first did it at level 4, you just need to keep an eye out and run run run. Luck never hurt either. If you can find someone to escort/protect you, its infinitely easier, though...

Just be prepared to do lots and lots of running, especially if a mob gets you~
