sleep the dragon. kill the eye. kill the dragon. you really don't need much more strategy than that.

i've killed this with as few as four people before. half of them went in naked XD

it's not a terribly hard fight.

I went in with a party of 3. Me (whm) and 2 mnks. All level 25. Just ran in and both mnks sp, i keep them alive, fight over 2 min tops. Oh and we killed the dragon first then the eye.

Hmm ... 2 of us from my LS (we're from Windurst) went to San D'Oria to complete this mission the other night. We brought 2 others that were Rank 5 with us to help, and for some reason they could not enter the BC to help us. Do they need to bring a BCNM20 orb with them or something? Not sure why they couldn't get in ... curious. Do the players on the mission need to enter first? Do the other need to keep trying or something?

I don't think you get a key item. You just need to talk to the consul and the leader of whatever country you to to last. If you haven't talked to the right people to progress the mission, the burning circle won't let you in.

well when i did it all they need to be was rank 3 or higher to do it dident matter on items or any pther thing we whre in pt thou may have mad a dif

Is the dragon fight the same no matter the nation you go to? I was going to solo the first part of the mission in San d'Oria then try to pick up a party in Bastok to take out the dragon there.

Perhaps their equipment did not meet the lvl25 restriction

I had something similar happen once. Groupn of 5 of us, and one was rank 4 and couldn't enter. I think something like that is dealing with poor rep for that particular country.

Oh, and anyone looking at trying to get a time record on the battle, take 3 or more monks in with you. My group beat it one time and hit the time record with only 3 monks. I'd love to try it with 6 some time

Bah, 2 ppl- one MNK/WAR the other RDM/WHM or WHM/BLM is all you need.

I duoed this mission with my MNK a long time ago with a RDM/WHM. It was farking easy. Hundred Fists ftw.

6 of us started thi game in August of 2005, the plan was to lv together and try to have fun.

That so didn't work.

One just zoomed past all of us.

3 of us went to Windy first, and all died on the boat cause someone in group tried to fish, but we were raised at the docks.

Then 2 of them quit.

That left us with 3. 2 of us lved ti lwe reached lv 25 and then we waited for the third to catch up. My friend got an invite to do the mission and he went and did it and started lving some more.

Finally my other friend was low in money so he had to cancel his account for a while so with nothing holding me back any more in January I finally got to kill the Dragon.

I did this all as a Thief too.

I have some questions. Would this mission be possible with one rdm/bm, one war/mnk, and a thf/blm? I was just wondering because me and two of my friends need to do this mission and these are the setups that we have. I am the rdm/blm. And i was just wondering if it would be possible. oh and we are all lv 24 and close to lv 25. any help would be great.thanks in advance.
