Okay, to complete the Windurst part (if you chosen to do Windurst then Bastok), you need to go to the San d'Oria consulate and report to the embassador there. He will then instruct you to go to Heaven's Tower in Windurst Walls to get the shield offering. You then go through the portal at the tower and get the shield from the scribes on the first floor.

After you have the shield, you need to go to Giddieus (don't forget to get a map). Giddieus can be reached by going to West Sarabaratura and from the Outpost, go west and in to that little area over there. Go to the treasure room and give/talk to the guard in front of the treasure room. To get to the treasure room, it is below ground, and you can get to it via J8 or F8.

After you have given the shield, find the NM (Named Monster) in the approximate area named: Zhuu Buxu the Silent and kill him, twice. This will make him drop the Parana Shield, twice. As required.

For the Bastok consulate, I would guess that you kill the other NM in the same approximate area: Eyy Mon the Ironbreaker to get the Aspire Knife instead.

After you have two of the Parana Shields, return to the consulate and trade it to the embassador and your mission in Windurst is complete.

The NMs is a breeze to kill at level 30. Might be easy for level 25, and a bit more challenging at level 20. Might be too difficult at level 15.

It appears that doing the Bastok mission first is easier than the Windurst mission first. But I will see what happens when I go fight the Bastok Dragon.... maybe it will be easier. Who knows?

The item is EX only, not rare.

Also... I will add it to the mission logs when I have completed the entire mission to add it.

What do you mean by this? You mean 2 Pirhana sheilds? Well that's what AKosygin is talking about... for the Sandoria mission, you need to get 2 sheilds.

As far as Eyy Mon the Ironbreaker for the Bastok mission, he wasn't too difficult to solo as a level 20 THF. He's not too much tougher than the easy prey birds around him (but I may have been lucky and fought a lower level version of him at the time). I imagine that Zhuu Buxu the Silent is around the same difficulty, as well as the Ghelsba Warchief (he was level 16 when I fought him in the NA beta) since it seems the first part of mission 6 was designed for lv20ish to be able to solo.... so they should put up a good fight at lv20, but I wouldn't want to fight them below that level.

i mean: Do the NMs drop more than the number of items requested or do they drop different items

What level should you at least be to do this mission?
