By the way here is the what to do for the new m7 for san if anyone needs to know.

Talk to the mission guard (Endricrion)
Then go to the castle and talk to the prince.
The prince is located in the couryard in the castle.
There are 2 princes so try both.
If you get a cutscene then you did it correct.

Next go to Davoi.
Davoi is in Jugner Forest.
If you are low level try to get a high level to help.

As you walk in Davoi go straight a bit and then make a right.
Go to around g-8 or so.
There is a npc running around the area by a bridge.
THen you are done.

Go back and talk to the prince in the castle.
After talk to the mission guard and then you are done.

All right, I know this is an old post I am responding to..But it appears as if possibly the mission may have been changed again and I was wondering if anyone had any info on this?

I accepted the mission from Endrocion..It is in my open missions menu. I am certain it is the correct mission, because it clearly says "Davoi" in katakana in the title, yet the rest of the name of the mission does not match up with the other Davoi completed mission that I have (M5).

I talked to the prince in the castle. I got the cutscene. Everything seemed fine. So I went to Davoi. I went to the bridge. I talked to the NPC (I don't remember exactly what his name was, but it started with a Q, was fairly long, and he was running around). He didn't say anything. Well, he DID say something, but it was remarkably short, very unlike an NPC who is furthering a mission or quest in some way. There was no cutscene. I followed him for awhile and talked to him repeatedly at different points in his running. Same thing.

So I went back to San D'oria, hoping maybe that was all I needed. Talked to the prince. Nothing happened..Just got some kind of short reply from him, no cutscene or anything like that. Talked to him a couple of times to be sure. Same thing. Talked to Endrocion again just to be sure mission was not completed. Obviously, it was not, or I would not be posting this :grin:

Someone on my LS suggested maybe I should try talking to Halver. So I did. Then I talked to the prince again, then went back to Davoi and talked to the NPC again. Still nothing. Came back, talked to prince and Endrocion again. Nada.

Any thoughts on this topic?

I think it could be the other mission involving Davoi.

I'm not sure what you mean..I know I did not re-accept M5, if that's what you're thinking, for two reasons. 1) I have checked the name of the open quest against the names of the completed quests, and while the first three or four characters in the name of this one DOES match up to M5, the rest of it is different, and 2) I did get the cutscene at the castle that I was supposed to get from talking to the prince for M7..I just haven't been able to get anything ELSE to work past that.

If you didn't mean that you think I re-accepted M5..then sorry..^^

I'm having the same problem, I've already done mission:

8 3-1 Davoi Investigation Report 2 :
To receive Mission 7, talk to Endracion. And then go to the Sandoria castle (the courtyard) to talk to the prince. You will see a cutscene when meeting him

Go to Davoi (like in mission 5), and go to map location G-8 to find an NPC near the bridge. After that, go back to the prince to report. And then talk to Endracion again to finish the mission.


So i don't see why they would allow me to do it again and not finish it. This time I was given the cutscene w/ the prince, but couldnt get a word out of Q(npc), plus Endracion will tell im in the middle of a mission and won't let me move on.

You are required to get 3 clue spots in Davoi to clear the mission. Unlike the Rank 2 mission here, you?fll need to come into contact with Orcs, so fighting is inevitable. Make sure you level is appropriate and with a full party with you.

1) Follow the right wall from the entrance and walk all the way until a dead end, and check for a ?e!?f near a tree.
2) Follow the left wall from the entrance and walk until a dead end and check for a ?e!?f mark along a cave.
3) From there go further south and check for another ! mark in the room.

You must get a cutscene from Prince Trion in the Prince Royal's Room. Then go talk to the Npc. Chavlatot gives u a quest.
