Set PT

Is anyone interested in leveling as a set group?

My friend and I have just recently come back to FFXI and were hoping it may be more efficient to level if we had a set group of people to level with.

At the moment, i'm playing a 19 NIN/WAR and he's playing a 17 RDM/WHM.

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but if there's any interest leave a message here.. :D

Re: Set PT

=p Yeah, it gets expensive starting over >_>

This forum doesn't appear to be the best place to find members for a lower-level static pt.. :p

Maybe (yeah right) ill catch up to you at 5x

. . . Though if you're bored one night maybe I can beg you to help me get SMN job =p

(I started it before I quit FFXI...think I need fire and ice elements still, and I'm afraid to die on my BLM and drop to 29 =p)

Re: Set PT

By the time someone with the right job/level responds, you may have level up 10 times already.

You might as well just duo for a while, at least until your friend catch up to your level. (He uses an Empress Band, you don't, until your levels match.)

NIN/WAR + RDM/WHM can easily take on Tough monsters together at that level, I think, so you may actually get more decent exp than spending an hour each session trying to put together a full six people party.

Re: Set PT

Yeah, we caught up to each other at 22 . . .

Most of the time either of us logs in and gets a party fairly quickly, though I'll continue to look here for trying to find players for a static PT.

It's just more fun playing with the same people each time =p
