Title pretty much says it all. I'm a 67 BLM, have good 50 cap gear, did all 3 minibosses, had 3 animas ready... We got to the top of the spire and the first party lost, and the second(mine) didn't even try >.> So if anyone who already did the fight or is at the same spot as me wants to team up, that would be great... as for people who aren't quite up to where I am, I'll help with some CoPs but I am NOT climbing Vhazl spire again -shudders-

How did you guys manage to lose 5-2? It's not that hard as long as you're prepared; it's not even vaguely difficult compared to harder missions like Diablos or Ouryu.

The good news is that, unlike the lower level Promyvions, you don't have to climb the Spire again unless someone else needs to make the trip. Each time you pass a miniboss, you gain the ability to warp straight to that floor; since the last miniboss is on the top floor of Promyvion-Vahzl, you can now warp straight to the top and just have to dodge a few weak Empty on the way to the Spire (this is how people manage to do ENM Vahzl - Pulling the Plug).

But seriously... 5-2 is pretty easy. My group cleared it long before it was made easier, in a single try, with no animas. All you need really is a couple of high-damage burst jobs; BLM works. Use your high damage abilities as each new boss activates to kill off the old one ASAP so you don't get overwhemed by 2 bosses at the same time (BLMs are great for this, since you can cast Freeze to help KO the old boss - 2 BLMs makes it very easy indeed).

Yeah, I knew about the teleport thing with the minibosses. Thats why I said i'm never climbing that spire again, the MRs in Vhazl are havock. I don't know how they lost, I wasn't in the group that went in first... and well w/e, my group didn't go in after they lost. I'm a BLM, so that should cover one of the heavy damage jobs, but I still need a party...
