Since Ballista started, I think we can actually put to rest some of the age-old questions like "Is Attack better than STR?" and stuff like that. Has anybody thought about making experiements on that kind of stuff?

Like pitting a drk with a lot of str against a pld with a lot of vit, then switching it to uber def. I think Ballista will enable us to test out all these theories that we've come up with.

I sure don't need to test anything like that... FC's Barrage of 336 finishing me off as I was running is proof enough ; ;

That was a level 30 cap one though....probably 500 something on a 40cap ; ; And a JP Galkan war with Sturmwind, berserk and sneak attack did 300 something damage (SA on me after someone casted sleep on me) Also a 40cap.

I'm still trying out the rdm/nin combo. Utsusemi and dual wield, with en-spells. Frankly, I think I've scared more people than killed o.o

Other than that, Ballista is very fun whether you're on the winning side or losing side.

Ha ha ha! Sorry about that (well, not really but you know what I mean ^^).

Anyway its really hard to test this with the chaoticness that is ballista. If you entered ballista with a friend from another nation and went to some secluded spot (just the two of you), then maybe you can run some tests (different equipment, etc.). If you stay where the main battles are, you won't be able to test much I think.

Interesting thought, but I don't have the gil to help.
