i've been wanting to make a SAM/SUM, but i'm still looking to see how much MP the summons take. but anyways, have you looked at the stats calculator?

any mage with /sam is simply useless..... your job is not to run in and attack. you just stay behind and cast

good thing about sub samurai is TP charging bonus. it gives you nothing if you don't attack and perform renkei.

so it's better off if I want to be a Samurai user I should just be a tanker and don't even think about using magic?

yes. that's samuirai strongest points. they charge TP fastest in the game. can even do 4 WS renkei alone. if you waste time casting magics you're making your samurai less useful.

I thought Sam and Rdm would be a good combination, because you can enchant your weapon with magic and have cure spells....

Anyway thats only my thought

I think that the Samurai/RDM would work well...

i understand...kinda...

but...samurai as just that job itself without a subjob...is a good job right? so...has anyone ever even SEEN a Sam/Rdm? ever? i'm a rdm right now but plan to just make my sub a warrior just in case i have to kick in warrior and replace rdm since i plan to become a Sam or a Drg...or something melee-ish.

now...is sam a more Tanking class or more of a Damage class?

because i mean depending on the battle wouldn't Rdm really help out with enchanting? thus leading you to do even HIGHER dmg to a monster who is weak to that element? or would it render useless because of the "missing" stats from backing up melee sub-job

no offense to those of you who don't have the game, but i would really like it if someone who is high lvled and has the game to answer this because i don't want to hear "calculated" things. i wanna hear actuall facts of someones 1st person experince...

thanks..sorry if i sounded confused...O.o if i need to refraine my questions say so
