1. "Nice" is something only you can decide, because what I consider nice may not be exactly your taste. If you're sticking with the PIII, don't waste your money on a really costly video card because that alone will not improve the visuals. If you're planning on a full upgrade later on and want to start off with the video card, I guess it's fine... but don't expect to get a Geforce 4 Ti 4200 or a Radeon 9500 pro and have it do miracles. Your CPU bottlenecks those cards, meaning if you got a cheaper card you'd get the same performance no matter what. If you stick to 800x600 you may be able to have most things on medium and a couple on high, maybe some stuff on low. I suggest a Geforce 3 if you can find one cheap... if not you may have to settle with a Geforce 4MX. (Don't panic, it'll run and you won't be wasting your money in reality because a more expensive card will only be expensive and give you about the same performance...like I already said.)

2. Beta is practically the exact same game you're gonna play. It's more of a PR thing so really you're playing the full game, names of stuff may change, but it's still the same game you'll be playing, not a drastic change.

3. Seems the headcount was in the upper hundred server wise... so far. I don't have the game but I know for sure all safe areas are going to be croweded the most... especially the Auction House area. When you go exp hunting you may come across big open spaces with no one around you...
