FFXI PC Version shipped

Just checking to see if anyone has received their PC Windows version of the Beta test kit. I tried browsing through the threads but it kind of got me mixed up.

Anyways, I still haven't received mine yet. I'm thinking that no on else has either (well of course, except for the PS2 players).

Okay, that was my understanding. Just with so many threads about Beta test kits made me a bit concerned.

Actually they are going to try to have the PC kits in our hands by july first... as that is when the PC Kit Keys go active

so IF that is the case... They should start shipping them next week...

And where did you get this information from?

I e-mailed playonline.com, they told me that the beta test kit would come "soon". Whether or not the rumor about the Windows and PS2 Beta kits being shipped at the same time, I didn't confirm. My guess is I'll wait until the end of the month. If I don't have it by that time, then I'll start to worry.

I phoned Square about this question of whether they are trying for a july 1st or just shipping them IN july. The response I got from the representative was that they were aiming to get us our kits between june 30 - july 3rd. If thats so, and it takes a week to ship, Id expect em going out sometime next week perhaps.

Wow I was expecting them to take until the middle of the month like the PS2 one's have. If this is true than I will be a very happy man.

You and I both Apocalypse, as I'm sure every other PC Beta'errerer (?!?! =D) will be. I cannot wait for it to come in, I've been trying to just sustain myself with some FFT until it comes... I feel like a crack fiend. =P

The wait really isnt that bad. Its the fact of finding a game right now that I HAVENT beat and want to play again to tide me over. Ok, I concede, waiting bites and im going nuts :P

Please, no complaining about how long you are going to wait for Final Fantasy XI. :p Yours is coming in July (or you already got it). Be happy you got in to the beta! (I am thankful I imported, thanks to a very generous friend.) :thumbsup:

Do not forget those poor schmucks out there that has to wait till Q4 of 2003 or worst, Q1 of 2004! :mad:

Only those people that has access limited to only the PS2 retail version of Final Fantasy XI really gets to whine..... :p :sweat:

The reason people are complaining like so, is because the closer it is to release, the more the anticipation rises. I remember all the way back to 1996 when I eagerly waited for the N64 to release. Owning and loving both the NES and SNES made me want it SO bad. I wasn't too excited a few months away, but come the night (even a week) of the release, I was as giddy as a school girl.

Well yeah ppl please stop complaining its getting really annoying =/ I want some info about the game - peoples stories, events, new info and such I dont care that you cant wait 2-3 days or 1-2 weeks for your beta kit just be patient (and yes I have PC beta too and im waiting patiently..)
