Can i complete the install process in windowed mode?

Is it possible to install and setup FFXI for pc in windowed mode so i can check the guide when i need to? (with alt + tab )
I know i cant play the game in windowed mode but is it possible at all during install process?

The install IS in windowed mode. However, the parts where you sign up for your account, you will have to ALT+TAB back and forth between your browser, notepad, and PlayOnline.

But I think you can tell PlayOnline to run in Windowed mode via the configuration under: START -> Programs -> PlayOnline -> PlayOnline Viewer -> PlayOnline Viewer Config

There should be a windows mode option for PlayOnline viewer to let you sign up in Windows mode.
