The answer to this quetion is most likely no, but i was curious if
i made a character on the for the ps2 ffxi, would i be able to make a character on the pc version with the same account???

Don't think so cause if I'm not mistaken, the character is on the account and don't mind what version of the game you play, so I guess you can only have 1 charater for both version or you could always pay the extra buck to create a new char.

well i havent played the game but i think it would be a no. but i was wondering something too, cant you like delete the account and then make a new character with the same account you used to had? or is it permenantly gone? ( and sorry if i was no help :sweat: )

This is an interesting question. In some way, it seem like it can be. Since that we will assigned a POL ID and password to access and all the character are store into the server. BUt, i think there still no anyone try it yet. Anyone else know about this?

Oh well...... I just didnt want to have to take turns playing ffxi wit my brother on our ps2 :sweat:

You can use your account, play your character, or make a new character on any PS2 or PC that is capable of playing FFXI. All you have to do when you install FFXI is say that you currently have an account, then type in your POL ID and Password, and you're set to go. I own both the PS2 and PC versions, and installed my PC version on a friend's computer before. So yeah, you can basically play anywhere. Now I don't know of a way to play at both locations at the same time using the same account. I tried signing onto POL on my PC while I was playing in FFXI on PS2, but it gave me an error message on PS2 saying that I was signing in at another location and then kicked me offline, and let the PC online.

well thanks for telling me that also reze i didnt know that :sweat: but anyways i doubt you could ever go in a account both at the same time because who would be moving the character? that would be rather strange if you could both be using the same account and stuff tough

Well I'm saying use the same account incase say you wanted to play FFXI on the PC, and play Tetra Master on your PS2... Or if you had like a brother that wanted to play with you or something.
