View Full Version : why thf/war over thf/drk?

Ive seen a bunch of forums that suggest a war as a sub for a thf and still others that say using a drk as a sub would be bad. Now seeing as im not going to use taunt too often(as im going to be sneaking around the enemy) wouldnt it be better to have the drk's 2 phy attack upgrades and the boost against magic enemies, not to metion the 2 attack-up and Pt magic def boost active abilities :confused:. If anyone has an answer please cough.. cough.. ping.. cough jei... sorry im a smoker.

as long as you know how to play THF, any sub job pretty much will do... i think....

THF at higher level are purely there to deal damage... i mean TONs of damage and still be safe un-harmed ^^; (because the decieve attack would transfer the hate to someone else)

/war ... can be sometime helpful with the taunt. and i like berserk+double attack a lot (remember taunt only in emergency...) defender can help you when you're getting hit too.
/drk i don't know if i like it... i don't want to lower my HP just to increase attacking power.

my favourite goes to /nin tho... that's what im using. the level 12 mirror image injutsu is so helpful. 2 daggers are also so fun and fast.

setting a sub can actually lower stats of your main (like hp)?

Don't think so. I think what Jei was trying to say is that the added hp's of dark would be lower than the other jobs that fill in as a sub.

thankx for the input jei, i was planning on going thf/nin for a while, until i heard on this site that the nin wasnt a very good class. but i guess ill just have to play around to see what i like the best

What do you mean? On the stat calculator at least, THF/DRK has more HP than THF/NIN.

He's saying THF/WAR has Higher HP, than THF/DRK
