Ok you can post stuff here about the beta kit, what you like about it, what you don't. if your getting one, when you think your going to get one, and what you are doing while waiting for your kit to arrive.

Also genrou we all know your a moderator , just let us post and talk about the beta kit here, its all we can do until it arrives. JEEZ, also this is a forum so thats what you do, discuss and talk about topics, SUCH AS THE BETA KIT

UPS will deviliver it. I know someone who send them an e-mail and they replied back that UPS would be sending the pacakge :)

So they know who will be sending it, but they don't know when it will be sent? Grrrrr I'm just gonna go back to playing FFI-X in order. It's kinda fun. lol I think that the moment I beat them the gods of Square-Enix will bless me with my Beta kit lol.

No... your wrong Yuna what I think Genrou did was a great job closing down the thread do you know how many Topic we had on beta? it's ok to talk about it but there is no reason to have 100000 topic's on beta. I am just terid of me coming to this forum and all I see it "beta" if it hasnet come to your house keep it to your self...

fine but this is about the beta kit, there has been as you have alrdy stated, enough topics about the beta, but this one is about the beta kit. mrm83 UPS is United Postal Service i believe, they deliever stuff like the mail man but big stuff(not real big but they deliver packages i should say :sweat: ) Oh yeah this is like a hybrid thread also, sooo its about the beta kit, and your thoughts and opinions about genrou on locking the other threads.

I have never recieved anything in the mail before from the S-E company or Squaresoft, soo...this will be the first time. And I have never played FFXI, so this will also be the first time.

UPS stands for United Parcel Service and they deliver almost anything that you could think of. (not sure if they deliver vehicles)

well if you go the regular snail mail route usps i think takes maybe 5 days. ups has the ups ground which is 5 to 7 days depending though on where it is coming from to where it is going. for example if the kit is coming from LA, Ca with a zip of 90013 using UPS ground it would reach my are in 1 to 2 days. i live in Clovis, Ca by the way it is in Central Cali.. here is a ups travel time for UPS Ground put in 90013 (<< This is supposedly where the kits are shipping from)

I think they may be sending the PS2 beta kits within this week because on another board someone said they got this letter:

It has come to our attention that our shipping carrier for delivery of the
PlayOnline(TM), FINAL FANTASY(R)XI and Tetra Master(TM) on
the PlayStation(R)2 computer entertainment system Beta Test kit CANNOT ship
to PO Boxes. You are receiving this email because in your application you

^^^^^ By this post i think it is safe to say that the Beta Kits are on their way. if they are i should recieve mine later today (UPS delivers late to my APT.) or tomorrow.

Operating under the assumption that the above letter from squaresoft was not fake, it looks like the shipping of beta kits began sometime yesterday or today. I wonder if anyone that reads this board has receieved a similar email? Basically, if they shipped today (6/5/03) then you can expect to receieve your kit next week sometime (depending on where you live). This, of course, can not be confirmed....

Im hoping they will arrive soon.

That must be for the PS2 beta testers then eh? Cause aren't they starting the PS2 beta earlier then PC? Or is it gonna be a conjoined start-up? Hope so, cause I got PC beta tester, so I hope mine comes in soon. ^_^ Hurray for So Cali UPS shipping!

hmmm yes...i knew creating this thread would bring in some useful information :biggrin: , so you say that e-mail is sent if they cannot send you the kit, because they cannot send it to po boxes, what is a po box? i would like to know so i can check my e-mail to see if they are going to request new information :-/

no a po box is a mail box located in your local Post Office hence the P.O.

ok good i got no po box :p so i should get my kit without any troubles and not have to reply asap to an e-mail and further delay my shipment with square-enix :D
