when did you put in your application? i put mine in on almost the very last day (stupid me) which could either mean i didn't get in at all. OR that they wont' send mine out till the very end because mine is at the very end of the list. ya kno? it seems they want almost everyone because the ammount of people who signed up and actually said "i didn't get in" are about...you, me, and another person. very small...as compared to Ps2. we got hope. today is probably the last day though. so...pray. pray or just import ^.^

They're obviously accepting more windows applicants. Also don't give up until the official website says that they're done send out notifications, until it says that, keep having faith.

Keep hoping everyone. I've been keeping tabs on both the PC & PS2 FFXI boards on GameFAQs, and found out a little news (you can check it yourself).

Some PS2 Beta testers are STILL getting accepted, almost 2 weeks after everyone thought it was over. So I'm gonna keep hopin to receive an acceptance letter for at least a month.

Well, I did get the (enter the Unlimited Saga “Hall of Valor” contest) e-mail and I also got the (sign up now for the Final Fantasy XI public beta) e-mail, but I haven’t been selected. :(
So I’m sure you guys wrote your e-mail right, the Unlimited Saga span must be an option that I selected when I was filling up my application. Let’s don’t lose hope yet.

OK the WINDOS ppl are being notified right now!!!! The ps2 ppl there done, if you dont believe me go to square-enix-usa.com and look at the news. And look for key words like HAVE been notified and CURRENTLY being notified.

To tell you the truth, Tsikuro pulled the trigger before I did. I was just about to say the same thing.

We all know when PC beta applications were accepted. The boards were spammed with it.

No e-mail for me yet either, and 4 of my friends did not get accepted either, I also do not know anyone who has recieved an acceptance letter from the last 2 days. Also, I think Square-Enix in general has let down their fans because if you check today's GameFAQs poll, the majority of people do not want FFXI now, and I'm guessing its because people are upset because they did nto get accepted. Some people are also mad because they let 13-16 year olds in the beta, and alot of people from canada. Anyway, personally I'm not so upset, I'll just wait for SWG and get that.

anyways. the point is that i'm pretty calm about not getting into the beta. i just know now that i was not ment to get in and that i was ment to import and play with my japanese brothers. ^.^ it will be alot more fun at the same time though. playing for free would of been nice. and catching the funny translation problems. would also be nice. it sucks that we who have been loyal didn't get in. BUT it just means now i can import with out doubts. instead of importing before and maybe getting in. i'm free to just...fly with my brothers in the import world.
