one thing that really makes me happy is this is not going to be no D2/LOD copy item game. There are goign to be weapons coming out every so offten, so there will be no ultimate weapon. that to everyone liked to use diff things so i think it will be good

nah dood....i agree its gonna be quite diverse but like in every game.... there are always the "semi godly" weapons.. just because they are most useful than most others

the only way to make sure that there are no ultimate weps is either make all the weps into "pea shooters" or all godly

they can try...but it never works....its like science theories.. they're always theories...and in perfect worlds etc (which never happens)

There is always the one very best weapon at all times during the game, but it really doesn't matter since sometimes parties will ask that you use different weapons for renkei purposes. On top of that, if the weapon's skill level isn't high, it won't do any damage at all. The strongest weapon could be a staff, but if the user's weapon skill is at 0, it's not a very strong weapon at all. =P

D2 and LoD was crazy... People selling and buying items on ebay for crazy prices (sometimes more than the game costed itself) and there were always those people who would duplicate their items. It was more like a trading game than an rpg.

Yeah, I agree, even though there are a finite number of items/equip/weapons, that they've done a good job of adding elements that will always give the system some spice and variety. I don't forsee ever feeling like everyone is running around with unimaginative equipment. Maybe we could get some impressions from importers?
