Conflicting release date info in europe.

Ive had some conflicting info on release dates in europe people have said it would be 2004 till we got ffXI but thease links say it will be november when we get it which is great if it is true and the seccond link is pretty up to date. uk.scee.com/software/ps2games.jhtml?localeTitleId=1047997# (http://)

I don't know if your actually talking about the PC or PS2 version. In North Amercia the Playstation 2 version is going to be released Q1 of 2004 and the PC is going to be released this year in October. So I don't think that website is accurate at all. Many NA websites say it will still be released this year for the PS2 while we know it will not.

we will be lucky if we get it all for either platform, pc or ps2. thats us in europe that is. oh well i suppose we got star wars galaxies to look forward too!! its a very similar game, dare i say better, but, for the record im a more avid fan of final fantasy than star wars!!!!

You obviously understand English well enough... import it. I don't understand why anybody in the UK doesn't import, if you're a serious gamer at least. I'd be importing from Japan in a heartbeat if I was fluent in Japanese.

To tidus4444 not "dissin" you or anything but, I am English!! Thats why my English is good, well, some would say!! Sorry if I confused you its just the UK comes under the European region, being that there is so many different langugages, its takes ages to convert a game, sometimes they dont even bother!!! I am definitely gonna import from the US if it doesnt appear here, I got a broadband connection so it should be ok to play against Americans online, im just wondering can you play US pc games an English Operating System PC? If so I definitely am!!!

ooooh. That I'm not sure of. Can somebody tell him whether FFXI will work on a European OS? I think it would, since JP FFXI worked on an American OS.

I don't see why the US PC version wouldn't work on a EU PC...there are absolutely no differences in hardware/software when it comes to PC games. I downloaded tons of US ISO'S before and they all worked fine, so this should be fine as well.

Yeah, the PC version will surely work, but the PS2 won't, and as I see these two sites are about the PS2 ver. An NTSC HDD won't work with a PAL PS2, as I know. Plz, don't flame me if I'm not right. >_<
