You basically go into your inventory and set prices for each of the items you want to sell. When you enter the bazaaring menu, everything is automatically set to 0 gil, which means you aren't selling that item. If you put in a digit that's over 0, it places the item into the bazaar for that amount of price.

People will be able to tell whether you have a Bazaar open or not by the icon over your head which is next to your name. If you have seen screenshots of the game, you'll notice how sometimes there is an icon that resembles a bag over the person's head, and this represents that the person has a bazaar open. Buyers can then look at what you are vending by clicking on you and going through a few menus which will take them to a list of the items you're selling. The price will be listed, along with the tax of the item (you have to calculate the total in your head, and if you don't have the money for it you won't be able to buy the item). I believe the tax differs from region to region. A place like Jeuno has a tax rate of 10% I think.

I don't have an example, though. I have never really taken screenshots of myself going into somebody's bazaar, nor have I taken screenshots of myself opening a bazaar, sorry. ><

oh well thanks lol, oh and is it just like your guessing if someone has something you need? or is there some indication that the person with the bazzar has what you need?

Unless you go into the person's bazaar, you will never know what that person is vending, which sort of forces people into going into other's bazaar.

There is this one person named "Hipotionseller" who is always idle in Jeuno with a bazaar open that sells Hipotions and Hiethers. I don't know if you created a new account with a new name solely for bazaaring, but so far this is the only unique way I've seen someone advertise their bazaar in a way other than the little bag icon.

oh i see thats cool, but that guy, cant he just send himself the money with the mog mail thing?

an example is like if i were to make a galka thief *horrible lol* and get to level 23 *impossible lol* and then want to make a mithra thief, can you just make the mithra, and go on as the galka, send yourself the things your galka had to your mithra, then delete your charecter?

Yes, you can do that, and I'm sure that's what the person I mentioned above is doing as well, unless that's what his main account is. Anyway, mog mail doesn't have any type of drawbacks (such as taxes) so it's the most efficient way of sending something to others.

thats awsome, and how do taxes work?

Auction houses and bazaaring both have taxes, and they all depend on region. You have to pay a small fee when you put something up for auction. In Jeuno, this fee can range between 100 and up. At places like Bastok, San d'Oria, and Windurst, it's normally between 1~100.

I'm not sure what the tax rate is for bazaaring (as I've stated before). I think the tax for bazaaring is 10% in Jeuno, so if you try to sell something in Jeuno for 100 gil, then an extra 10 gil will be added to the total cost of the item.

oh i see, that makes sence, thanks a ton for the help, the game gets better and better, oh and one last question

What have you bought in bazzar lol, maybe quest items? oh and *i know i said only 1 more but hey* can AF armor be sold?

Maxim

Some quest items may be sold, but many of the important ones can't. If the item has the symbol 'EX' on it, then the item cannot be traded, sold, nor bought once obtained. If the item has the symbol "RA" on it, then the item is rare and you can only have one of it. If the item has both RA and EX on it, then you can only have one of the item and it's not something that can be traded or bought (which is the case for most important quest items). AF armor can't be sold either, for the reasons stated above.
