Taru & Big weapons

I really liked to idea of playing a Taru DK/BM, just for the fun of seeing the little guy whacking some big ol' monster. I know the stats aren't ideal for the lil' guy, but I like a challenge!

Anyway my question is, if you're playing a 3ft tall guy, can you still wield the huge 2 handed swords and the like? And also I saw a s/shot of a Hume with the 2h sword on their back, this sword must of been 2x / 3x the height of a taru, so how would that work?

i think the swords are scaled down

Correct. They scale down to the 'proper' size for the character.

could you imagine a tarutaru with a normal size 2h weapon

Haha... I can picture that. Walking around town and keeps falling over and knocking themself out.

does the size of the sword have any effect in combat, like the range/etc - placing the taru at a disadvantage, or doesn't it make any difference?

probably, size doesnt matter... but bigger size weapon, sure that attack power will higher

It probably effects the range in that a longer sword would ave better reach, but the reach would change for different characters.
