I think I have an idea how to talk with a microphone in FFXI with ur friend while....

maybe two people who have the game and ICQ or any other talking program could try it and let us know

just get the program to work and start talking with ur friend then start playing final fantasy and see if u can still talk to him/her..it would be really fun and helpfull during the game to be able to talk and play at the same time so that way u don't have write messeges.

Although u will onyl be able to talk to one player and also it would work really well with High Speed connection not 56 modem.

Just and idea...I hope it works

It should work with ffxi also but i havn't tried since i don't have the game.

Hehe I used that too while play SC and BF1942. But dont use RogerWilco becuase personally i've tried alot of spreaking programs and that one sucks. My favorite is Team Speak www.teamspeak.com. You can't use AIM either in the game or in any game you have to be out of everything to talk in it..or so i've heard.

Well almost every1 have already tried that sometime it works for every computer game as long as you got a sound card which can take more then one source at the time and atleast dsl connection.

There are many different programs which you can talk more than on in, for example Team Speak or Ventrilo (Me myself think this programs sux but they still work :P)

I use MSN (I only talk to my best friend anyway so I dont need a multi chat)...

As far as I know only a few are Rogerwilco, Teamspeak, Battlecom, and Ventrilo. Hope we helped :). (TS is the easiest to use in my opinion even though you get d/ced off and on..)
