View Full Version : No possible way to boot jap ffxi on us ps2!

Hey,
to install FFXI, you have to get into the psbb navigator select game, insert the disc and select install... But a import mod-chip lets you only insert the jap game and restart the ps2 with the import in the ps2... So it won't go in the psbb navigator first, is that a problem or you can do it?

Well, there is no harddrive to even play the game on a US playstation. Without the harddrive you cant do play FFXI. Also the language barrier of the game wont be supported on the US playstation. Also the harddrive wont be supported on the US playstation.

the hdd worked fine with my us ps2... Everything was already installed...

well,
I've got the jap ps2 too, but I paid someone to install the bb navigator, becuz I donŮ't have it, and i'm still searching one for my jap ps2 :(... But I got my ffxi and ps2 us with the navigator installed, and I wonder if I can just put the ffxi dvd in... no pass trought the navigator..
