Given the current lack of a new really exciting journal like Starving Artist's search for a pointy hat, I decided to read Guely's journal once again. It's the longest and (sorry if I offend any of your hard works, but Guely made a journal that made me want FFXI more than anything else) most epic journal on the internet. Many of you have probably read it, but I'll post it in parts so that everyone can get to read it... you won't regret it. Once again I state I take no credit for this journal and all rights and priviledges are exclusively the belonging of Guely.
Enough with the intro.. let's get on with it!

The Adventure
First let me tell you about me. I couldn't get a world pass so I am on Titan's World. I'm a TaruTaru level 11 Black Mage with 95HP and 138MP and my current spells are: Poison, Earth, Water, Aero, Bio, Blind, and Hold. I can get one more spell, but I need 800 more gil.

I sent off initially to solo adventure to the next town. Which is very far I now realize. I fought as much as possible to gain experience. The first few battles were simple:

Nearing the next area I ran into a couple nice battles with okay experience:

Definitely had to rest after those battles. I knew the upcoming monsters would be too strong for me but I went ahead anyway. The next fight drained my HP to 20 and my MP to 12. I almost gave up hope and was about to return when Pen and Takushi showed up. They saw my last battle and realized the strength of my spells. (I can take up 50HP with one spell) So they wanted me to join their party. I happily excepted and we continued down the the next town:

Pen is a Mithra level 13 Black Mage (130HP 128MP)and Takushi is a Hume level 14 Warrior (248HP!) Pen and Takushi could both speak English. Pen a little better then Takushi.

Our battles together went great. Takushi was our Tank and divert the attention of the monster to him while I blinded and poisoned the monster as Pen would unload her fire and wind spells. I would follow with my Water and Wind spells after my status affecting spells. We defeated every monster easy:

After a little while Pen said that her friend Sparky would be joining us. So we ran back a ways to meet up with him. Sparky is a Hume level 11 Thief (165HP) Things were going great, all four of us continued on our way to the town.

As we battled our way to the town, we came across this giant white structure. If it was a city, castle, or a town I don't know. I made a note to come back to there another time. But we continued on our way:

Now that we had 4 people in our party, battles were even easier. We all couldn't wait to get closer to town as the monsters would be more difficult:

We finally reached the next area. The town still very far away, we continued on our way batting a little stronger foes:

After finally making it to town we made our preparations and dared to set off even further to try and get better experience... That was a mistake:

Pen, Takushi, Sparky, and I set off from town. We knew the monster around here were too strong for us. So we asked a level 20 Hume Warrior/White Mage for help. Orutega was his name. He lead us through the area then our of no were a Lizard attacks Pen so we all engage in combat. We do our normal routine, but then a Goblin attacks on the other end. We all see our end soon. Orutega tries to heal everyone he can but our Warrior is losing HP too fast. We finally kill the Lizard so I cast hold on the Goblin so everyone can run but the Goblin cast a fire spell and hit everyone and killed Pen and Takushi. Sparky stays and tries to kill it, but as I try to run with my 15HP left, the Goblin casts the fire spell again. I die. After being transported back to the checkpoint, we see Sparky's HP go to 0 and he appears in front of us. So... We travel back. Lol.
