The misadventures of Sagus and Maelyn

I really need to find a way to get snagit to do both web capture and discrete capture seperately. Ah well. Right now, all these are using the in-game screencap system. Which kind of sucks. But oh well. :D

This first one was more or less right after I hit level 7. We were getting ready to go out and do the second San D'oria mission. Januz was going to take me and Calaeriel (my girlfriend) out to do it, and Cobbi wanted to join. The more the merrier. :)

At this point we were just sitting around in King Ronperre's Tomb waiting for nightfall so we could gank some Ding Bats. I found myself admiring the sun's glare, as I so often do. :)

At this point I decided to gather the gang around so we could take a group photo. Say Cheese!

We killed the ding bats and got the item, and headed for home. I had to stop to take a picture of the cave though. After all, it was my first cave! :D

hehe i cant wait to do that myself......now im in a big dilemma....cuz on one side there's the "educationnal" side to the import of makin me more familiar to japanese, and on the other the NA version which is supposed to have a little more advantages (like more costumizable chars) and of course i could understand everything and fully enjoy the game....

HHMMMMMM..... i want to learn japanese badly XD!! But i guess i'll wait at least for the beta response....

I got a new graphics card last saturday, so I decided to head to Ghelsba Outpost to kill some orcs in glorious high res. Not that it changes the size of the screencaps, of course. But at least they look better. :)

Ah, the Vana'diel sunset. A sight to behold. So I beheld it.

Aaaand... Level 10! I got my banded armor now, so i of course headed to ghelsba to lay down some smack on Orc heads, when I noticed the moon again. Soo...so pretty....

Our first excursion to Lathien Plateau. Nice place...if you're strong enough. This was just last night. We got some great XP, and the landscape is pretty. :)

And now for my second character, Maelyn! She's a Mithra Black Mage. I created her mainly to have something to do while my GF levels up a bit. As a warrior, i tend to level faster than her White Mage, so now I have Maelyn to keep my time occupied. And actually, being a black mage is pretty cool. I'm able to take on things that I really shouldn't be able to at my level. Well, except when I'm sitting down recovering mana.

MMEEE??? O_o;; You know how much tweeking I have to do to make it not look jaggy? It is _SOO_ chunky when I play it's sickning, it looks like I am playing on the PSX... I have to resize it, apply filters and all sortsa stuff just to make the pix postable... Ones I use for Avitar/sigs I put extra special care in remaking them ^^ So they look good...

i was gonna try to import to play but i found a place offering info on how different vid cards work for the game and found out mine is in the bottom 10 i guess ill wait till it comes out in US and hope they fix it so more compatible or that i can afford to get a good card by then

Yay! Since I took down the FFXI webcam, that means I could use snagit just to grab pics! So here's the next round.

Since my Girlfriend was gone almost all of Saturday, I decided to play Maelyn. First thing I saw out in the world was one of the biggest swords I've ever seen.
