I don't know if anyone has tried this or not, but with the experience bonus that comes from rings such as the Empress Band or the Anniversary Ring, does the effect work solely on killing mobs solo and in pt, or does that effect apply to things such as exp gained in Besiege and Campaign? In the same vain, does it also effect exp gained from items like the Memoirs?

It only applies to exp gained directly from killing mobs. Beseiged, Campaign, and XP items do not get the bonus.

I can translate the words, but what is this sig supposed to show?Carlyle: <keyboard smash>
Cot: [Camp] location here?
Bieie: One-handed sword, one-handed axe.
Mayura: I brought polearm and one-handed sword~
Cot: In front of tower?
Carlyle: Right now I bet they're saying "Stupid Americans".
Is Carlyle's last line supposed to be funny? (I guess I'll have to unlearn Japanese to get the joke?)

Saying that, I still see a huge amount of people keeping the EXP ring on during their EXP session. Either they forgot to take it off or they think the effect will disappear as soon as you take it off. This is not true. You can take them off as soon as you use it.

Yeah, an ignorant response to an unknown language. The automatic assumption that just because you did something stupid or in your mind eventful in any way that anything of another language that follows is always about you.

They overwrite each other.

Which is why you would use one, get it's full bonus, then use the other.

You guys misunderstand. Who cares if you can use them both at once? You can equip them both. For extra awesome party performance.
Or as a statement. "Look, I have both these rings, but this party sucks so bad I'm not going to use either one."

And then you get your gear screenshotted and posted on BG's "The Gimp/Confused/WTF Player Thread." Especially if you're 50+, there's no excuse.

I don't accept stupidity though. If you claim to be retarded, you probably are, and I don't party with retards.
Harsh, but at least I know I won't end up face down in the dirt.

I'm not saying stop leveling. I'm saying don't xp in your xp ring. Switch it out after you have used it. That's what I meant, that you're gimp if you xp in your Anniversary ring for four hours. Put it on, use it, put your Rajas or whatever back on.

I mean, you don't even have to rely on outside sources for this information. Ask your LS, or people in your exp party.*
