I once had someone recognize me from Alla posts (/sigh, yes, but it was 4 years ago)...

I was recognized only once from this forum. I don't post a lot.

I keep getting recognized for all my youtube videos, though...and other stuff, too.

Someone I met had become a good friend with one of my friends before I met her, and when I started telling her about a story I was writing about said friend, she said something along the lines of, "I know. ^^ That story is really good, I like reading it."

It was really awkward for her to know about it before I even told her, but we became best friends after that.

I never got recognized back when I played. I don't think people on LotRO recognize me, even though I'm fairly active in the Laurelin server forum and the Laurelin massive PvP thread.

I was recognized quite a bit. Most annoying time was someone who recognized me from Alla, months after I had left (this was a newb, mind you), and was practically worshiping me. It took quite a while to get him to realize that A- I wasn't busy at all, and B- I'm not that amazing.

I got recognized a few times back in the day and it'd either go one of two ways. If they recognized me from here, it was generally very positive. If they recognized me from KI, not so much. lol I was easily spotted though since I was one of very, very few who posted on the Forums from Alexander.
