I been away from the game for a long time, since before Agt Urgan was release. Im coming back on thursday though. I was thinking about starting out as a WAR/THF, then when I get to 30 switching over to a NIN/WAR. I wanted to know whether this was a good combo or not for melee comat, cause I really can't remember. If anyone has some other suggestions that would be great. Im not at all familiar with the new jobs so feel free to enlighten me.
Ninja are still tanks. So yea you'll be stuck with Nin/war for a long time.
nin/war 1-75, endgame nin/drk is about as simple as it gets.

There's also NIN/BLM at level 51+ for those who are, umm... "financially secure".

WAR/MNK and two-handed axe, please; /THF isn't too useful before WAR30.

I wouldn't call NIN/DNC purely solo at post-sub levels; remember, DNC gets a mini-voke at 20, so a NIN could try subbing DNC in parties starting at 40. Heck, you even get Evasion Bonus I from it, something NIN is conspicuously missing. -- Pteryx

Ill take you out to campaign and teach you if you want.
