Hello,

I play Final Fantasy XI one year. I have FF XI + RotZ + CoP > EUROPEAN versions.
My friends at my land (Czech Republic) are playing FF XI too, but they have US versions of game.
I want to buy new game - FF XI + RotZ + CoP + ToAU + WoG > AMERICAN version (Vanadiel Collection 2008).
I need to know, if I can uninstall my EU version, install american version, can I continue playing with my actual Content ID, which I actually used at EU version?

Best regards and thank You for answers.

First of all, Ask SE questions is for asking questions about the game of SE, not for help with the game or tech support. Use our main forum for that.

Secondly, no. The version doesn't matter, it's your account region. If you have an EU account, you can use any version of the game; however you have to have EU registration codes.

You have two choices:

A, keep your EU account and character, and get an EU version of the 08 collection or buy the expansions seperately

B, make a new NA account, and start over on a new character.

Anyway, unless you can't find the new expansions in EU, there's really no benefit to playing on either client.

Hmmm, thank You.

I doubt there is a single highstreet retailer in the whole of the EU that still carries stock of the ToAU expansion disc.

Either see if your local highstreet store can order it in for you from their suppliers, or look into purchasing it online.

Can You show me some internet link?

For the Czech Republic? Yikes.

Let's see...

Well here's Play.com (UK) with payment in Euros: Linkypoo (http://www.play.com/Games/PC/4-/922310/-/Product.html?searchstring=aht+urhgan&searchsource=0). That's just for the expansion pack only, 60 Euros.. That seems expensive..! o.o;

Check this out though..

Same site, this time the 2007 Collection (with main game, RotZ, CoP and ToAU): Linkypoo2 (http://www.play.com/Games/PC/4-/3326830/Final-Fantasy-XI-Online-2007-Edition/Product.html). 21 Euros! But that's the official Play.com price and they're out of stock right now..

Notice though, in that same link there are two independant traders who have new, sealed copies of the 2007 collection. Selling for 37~Euros. Dispatched from the UK, but you could send an e-mail to them and work out the delivery charge for Mainland Europe no problem.

But yeah, I wouldn't bother with the stand-alone Treasures Expansion. Looks like it's very rare and is gonna cost way more than just the 2007 collection (which will work for you just fine).

Your local shop should be able to get you a copy of the collection easily enough also. You should call them up and ask^^

Good luck.
