World Transfer Service (http://www.playonline.com/ff11us/intro/optional/wd_transfer01.html)
move to the fairy server because they have a LBGT linkshellThere is nothing I could say that would match the humour there.

The world pass won't do you any good at all. Gold World Passes (the only kind that exist anymore) are only good for new accounts. If you're talking about a transfer, you're too late to use it. You can still pay the $25 and transfer, of course. Just be aware that if it doesn't work out, you're stuck there for 90 days, and then it's another $25 to move again.

What is a LBGT linkshell? And are you sure it's worth to switch?

That LS (Children of Altana) is full of really nice and helpful people. Unless we're talking about another large LGBT LS on Fairy, but I don't think we are. I was going to join a few years ago, but that was before the World Transfer Service, and I wasn't starting over. Of course, then I did start over, but whatever.

Children of Altana is the one that I was talking about. For some reason i'm not making to many friends on Bahamut, except for murphie who i dont see anymore, so I figured i'd change, especially because I already know alot of people in Children of Altana from gaymer.com

You can transfer for $25. You don't need a world pass. But if you don't want to pay $25, you can delete your current character and make a new one on Fairy. Depending on your current progress, that might be the wiser choice.
except for murphie who i dont see anymore,
Murphie is a Ninja, he's hard to find.
I mean, his main job is RDM, but his sub is totally NIN.

I'm well taken care of IRL so $25 is nothing and I don't plan on starting over :[! I worked to much already haha. Plus I think I have to wait 90 days after my char has been made and I want to get a few more quest done and possibly levle up BLU a bit before I change :]
but his sub is totally NIN.

Yes, you do have to wait 90 days, if I'm not mistaken. So you won't be switching to Fairy anytime soon. Which is why I suggested restarting. Re-doing your progress is actually remarkably faster the second time around, but I understand not wanting to have to do that.

Actually, the transfer process takes about 10 seconds in total. :P (I've done it as well.) You just have to wait 90 days after the transfer of your character(s) to be able to purchase another transfer oppertunity for your character(s).
Something you might want to consider; buy a second content ID (only $1), and play that on the new server. If you don't mind restarting, keep playing on that and just delete your old character; otherwise, you can pay the more expensive transfer fee later.

I may be wrong, though. The actual process does indeed only take a few seconds. I've done it myself a couple of times.

The 90-day limit does apply to new accounts (not characters; transfers, and thus the restrictions on them, are per-account), too. Mine was shiny and new when I started on Kujata, and the limit applied.

I'd recommend just staying in your current shell(s), or transferring to Fairy if that's the kind of experience you want.

I actually just moved to Siren from Fairy. I found it very fustrating with the largly growing LBGT population to even talk them. This kid who was in my EXP party got mad at me because i made a comment "If a tree falls in a forest but no one is around to hear it does it make a sound?" due to our WHM going AFK and not telling anyone but he swears he typed "Going AFK"...anyway the kid thought i was making fun of him because he hasn't come out of the closet yet. How the fuck did he get that from my comment!?
i don't really know if he was a she or a transvestite. but he/she/either or was overly sensative. Met a lesbian man hater/basher once. I was on my mithra mule when i met her then when she found out i was a guy she did a 180 difference in attitude towards me.
I'm not a hater but i was hated for no reason, i'm gonna say it like BBQ. Take all the LBGT peps and put them on fariy.

You could ask in your own social linkshell if anyone is homosexual as well... Just because a linkshell has people of same sexual preferrence doesn't mean it has to be a great community right?

However in this case, Children of Altana actually is a pretty good shell.

There is a gay guy in my LS actually and hes a big drama queen. And I tend to get along with other gay people better. AND I am tired of hearing about this guy who just "totally boned" this chick. Then they go into details..... [shiver] :wtf:

You're tired...I live in uptown minneapolis prime breading ground of gay relationships i hear it everyday.
I honestly wish gay and lesbians would keep that information to themselves. If i inquire about it share but if i don't please don't speak a word. There's too many who are open about that and speak too freely. There's more people who don't want to hear about it unless they ask.

Just as there are gay people who don't want to hear about the details of straight relationships. Or heck, who don't want to hear the details of anyone's sex life.
I don't care if some guy met some girl, or if some girl met some guy, or some guy met some guy, or some girl met some girl. I don't care which video game character you think is hot, and I don't care what you'd like to do with Lion, Prishe, Cornelia, Volker, Trion, etc. I don't discriminate. I am unilaterally uninterested.
It helps.
I disagree. The best LS are motley crews!

Agreed.

Some people find a less motley environment more enjoyable. Different strokes, Feba.

A lot of straight guys talk about having sex with girls, and girls do the same thing it is just not gay people. Everyone of any sexual orientation talks about it, just have to find the ones that dont I guess.

I dont know about you but I honestly get along better with straight people, gay people tend to be to emotional and drama queens. (well a lot of them anyway.) That and I like masculine guys in the first place, not prissy girly guys that act like fairies. (I also know some do act masculine, but a lot more act girly.)
I think this conversation should be made into a gay talk thread on the off topic forum part.
