I did the three quests to unlock Bard and I'm just curious...if you go BRD/BST, can your songs affect your pet at all? ie: boost defense, increase attack, etc...not looking to solo BRD forever, just enuff to get me to Valkurm asap...

Does it work?

No, as of Monday they will work on Fellowship NPC's if you have them, but not BST/SMN/PUP pets.

75 BRD/BST is like the ultimate crowd control and pretty nice for solo, though technically, your BSTs level has to match or be very close to your actual BRD's level for Charm to be effective.

Its just not recommended for PTs.

I was using BRD/BST last night to get to 10, now I just gotta get some +1 instruments and head to Valkurm...it was fun for a while and easy to lvl...I think /BST is best bet for solo'n BRD, but it would take a while... >_>

Check this out. I might have just noticed this but when you bst/dnc your pets (not just jugs) drain hp from samba. I was doing it in campaign yesterday. Pretty cool bonus. They should include the songs to effect pets that would rule. Not only for BST, but it would be great for SMN and DRG

nice...now I'm wondering if jugs will benefit from BRD...hmmmmph.
