I bought Final fantasy XI yesterday and i dont get it how to make and account i have instaled the game and everything is finish what do i do after that please some one help and if it is easyer to help in msn add me on: KurdeN_6@hotmail.com

First off, you have to provide a bit more information.

(1) What version of the game did you buy? PC? Xbox 360? PS2? There's some differences between the login for each version (not much, but a little, in terms of the interface).

(2) Are you able to start the PlayOnline Viewer? If so, it should walk you through the account creation process automatically.

i bought the one for PC Final Fantasy XI online: The Vana´diel collection includes the complete original game plus expansion packs for Rise of the Zilart and Chains of Promathia. And yes i can start the PlayOnline Viewer but dont know how it works :S

It should walk you through Account Creation on first start up, IIRC. Could you give us a bit more description on what part you are stuck on?

okej i have an PlayOnline ID and then the name is Kurden and when i start up the "layOnline Viewer"i klick on the name KurdeN with big letters then i come to "ogin information" I have already sett a password so when i click log in i come to "connect to PlayOnline" then i write in the password and click connect and when i do that it loads for some second but then a white box pops up and says "Incorrect PlayOnline ID or Password". :(

You probably input your password or POL ID incorrectly. Try typing it again, make sure you have the exact information you wrote down.

I have tryied log in like 20 times i cant have wrote in wrong pass so many times

Did you actually create the account (as in provide all your address and billing information?)

It's possible that someone already has that login ID taken, in which case any amount of password guessing isn't going to get you very far.

I am having the same problem. I am using PS3, and FFXI Collection 2008. I can access POL's message board, and any other screen I try, When it gets to " Connecting to PlayOnline"....I get a window stating "Incorrect PlayOnline ID or password." All data entered is correct.

Okay, I figured it out. You go through the long ass registration process for the Playstation NETWORK, but that doesnt' register you for PLAYONLINE!!!!! You have to register all over again for Playonline.
