They all look great, but most lack context. I think we can all appreciate the power of context.

Have you ever had to tank Mammets? It's not easy, and I've come to appreciate what I've suffered for. The context is 'zomg mammets!' and I've taken a few liberties since I've kept very little sense of realism.

I expect context from transworld art just like I would expect context from various photographs people have taken. Nobody hands you a photograph and says 'Here's a picture.', do they? It's usually 'This is us at this place,' or 'Check out this shot of the sunrise in some place,' right?

Why not go the next mile and add some context? Where are the characters? What are they doing? Why? It's not difficult to answer those questions without having to write it out. People will enjoy it, especially if it brings back memories of their experiences in the game.

It's no big deal though, just constructive criticism.

Pictures can tell many stories. Wouldn't you appreciate being told the correct one? Even in photo albums and occasionally in online galleries there are notes, names, and dates. Why? The context brings meaning, not the picture itself.

I'm going to poll a few friends of mine to see if they don't feel the same way. I'd be surprised if I'm the only one who appreciates context. It's not just a social psychology thing.

Dak: But some people do loiter. A lot of time spent in game is loitering. It's relaxing.

Sevv: the size restrictions aren't your account personally, it's to keep the images from being too much for the crappier users. But they can turn them off.

Anyway no more talk about context, how I do my sigs is how i do my sigs, if you dont like it then you dont, these arent perfect, its not going to be liked by everyone.

Have to say, your work looks pretty damned amazing.

Per chance are you a professional photographer or in a related profession? The compositions--the ease and mastery both--suggest these are not the products from a normal amateur sig maker. The speed of turnaround and the impressive supply of stock scenery photos also suggests a professional level work here.

Should put up a PayPal account link; it's only courtesy to pay a professional graphic artist for her work, even if it's just a symbolic dime or two.

I don't think I want names on it. I think I'd rather have something along the lines of 'Never forgotten...' which has dual meaning both as to our time there, and to the RP story line we had for them. I don't think I want names on it. I think I'd rather have something along the lines of 'Never forgotten...' which has dual meaning both as to our time there, and to the RP story line we had for them. If you're not keen on words though, that's fine. A kind of sad/dark atmosphere would be nice. Maybe something playing up on Valdir being her 'guardian'. It was a rather dark story line, for all three of us. Me, Valdir, and Sev. I really liked it. It's a damn shame it never finished. I leave that up to your obvious copious amounts of talent. :p

This was requested by Omgwtfbbqkitten a LONGGGGG TIME AGO, but i was never able to actually get it done, and although I'm not very proud of it, its still something. The real pain in the ass about this sig was getting the cards, now if you are familiar with Altana view you know you can't STOP the card animation meaning I had to keep print screening everytime the cards went around, so i just said FUCK IT and made two number I cards. Didn't really blend as well as i was hoping it would, but i made the darkness of the room cover it up a bit, seeing as Casino rooms like to have lights low, i played into that theme.

Anyway this was to thank him for helping me finally get Sea!

I don't think I want names on it. I think I'd rather have something along the lines of 'Never forgotten...' which has dual meaning both as to our time there, and to the RP story line we had for them. If you're not keen on words though, that's fine. A kind of sad/dark atmosphere would be nice. Maybe something playing up on Valdir being her 'guardian'. It was a rather dark story line, for all three of us. Me, Valdir, and Sev. I really liked it. It's a damn shame it never finished. I leave that up to your obvious copious amounts of talent. :p
