Is there a australian version of the game? if there's not what version of the game should i get for my australian computer.:worry:

your computer's nationality doesn't matter, it's all in what's easiest for you to import. I believe 'officially' AU uses the EU version, but you should just check the local shops. Personally, I'd use the NA version, just because there's a lot more players in NA, it has a much lower chance of ever being discontinued, and it would be easier to find friends to ship you a copy (I bought a copy for a friend in Melbourne once, although his problem was because he bought FFXI long before stores in the area carried it)

As far as I know there is not. You should get either an European or North American version. Whichever is easier to get. Keep in mind that all expansions have to be the same region (NA, EU, JP) in order to work correctly together.

The EU version is the version that we have in our stores in Australia, you should be able to find it at EB or other game stores.

Do not underestimate the power of the American corporation ...

We have Coke and McDonalds too! But we only consume those products on SPECIAL occasions, like when we're not preoccupied with being technologically and socially backwards.

It's not that so much as EB switched over to GameStop long ago here.
