I get an error when I start FF11 "Terminated as error occurred in FINAL FANTASY XI. Failed to recognize Hardware TnL. Please check that this computer has the required specifications to run FINAL FANTASY XI.(-1)" (I do have the require specs)

I had this problem when I first got the game. It means your current graphics card is incapable of running FFXI, so you need a new one.
