Is this the only way I can patch the game? So far, I got through Step 1 once, (which takes like 30m-1h) and then it decided to tell me after that that I had insufficient hard drive space. So I removed so stuff from my hard drive. And now I get to start over form the beginning again, I decide to play a game, but no, I come back to check on it in like 2 hours, it hasn't fucking moved because I can't play a game and have it patch apparently. So then, I decide to go out to eat, I come back like 1h-2h later, I got disconnected. So, I go to bed with it patching, wake up in the middle of the night, decide to see if it finished, I got disconnected. So, I started it over and went back to sleep, I woke up, and it has AGAIN disconnected. And each time it disconnects, instead of keeping my spot, it decides I have to start all the way over instead.

Don't you just love when that happens. Thats probably one of the biggest pains in the ass. What makes it worse if you don't have the 07 or 08 collection set then you have even more files to go through after you D/C.

You may be having conection issues, what kind of connection are you running?
Also keep in mind, anything downloaded in section 2 is permanently downloaded. Yes it will have to check files again, but the downloaded amount of files needed will be less (ex: You disconnect when you're on the download page at 5001/10000, after you have file check run then the download will start at 0/4999).

Too bad checking the files takes so damn long. Not to mention if you are 3/4 done with the second step and then you D/C you have to recheck every file again. Now its not nearly as bad with the 07 or the 08 collection discs, But if your have the original copies then it takes a very very long time.
