summoner quest weathers

hey everyone!
Im doing my quest to become summoner and having some trouble with my last weather ! I cant seem to find heat. I have been in dunes all day long (earth time) and weather has been sunny and then windy and then sunny, no heat! I hear about other places to go, but no one seem to be helping out on how to get there......where should i go to find a place that has heat as a main weather???

Heat waves are difficult to find sometimes. Altepa has them, as do the Jungles, though it is very rare in the Jungles.

Your best bets are in the Dunes or Altepa.

Dunes > Konschtat Highlands > North Gustaberg > South Gustaberg > Bastok Mines > Zeruhn Mines > Korroloka Tunnel > Eastern Altepa Desert

While you're there you can grab the Teleport-Altep crystal.

OMG I remember back in the day when I did my first smn quest. First I didn't know that you had to zone out and back if the weather changed while you were in the zone. So I was in the Dunes and it was fire weather and I was like "wtf!" and then someone told me to zone out and back in and by the time I got to the zone and did it....no fire weather. LOL Then I decided to go to Altepa and not having the crystal, it took a while. When I got there....it was fire weather in the Dunes. /sigh After a while in Altepa, where I ran into lots of Earth weather, I decided to go back to the Dunes because it seemed to get more fire weather. After a very eventful trek back, I finally got to the Dunes. Guess what? Yep, fire weather in Altepa. ><; I was so frustrated I just logged off and didn't finish the quest for a couple months. LOL Good luck!

After the weather NPC in Selbina reports clear weather two or three days in a row the weather should become fire elemental after those days.
