Alas! I have done what countless other Paladins before me have done: Kicked Maat's old wrinkly ass. From the moment I hit 70 I was determined to fight Maat only once.
After my friends helped me get my test in Beadeaux, I went straight to Maat and challenged him. I apparently got over-prepared by buying too many hi-pots and ethers cus I only used 2 ethers and no hi-pots.
Sentinel right off the bat, then rampart and flash. After he used invincible I flashed him and kited him around. After that, I popped my 2hr and used the free 30s to cure myself and pop another yag. drink. By this time he had less than 50% HP. Another Vorpal Blade and then flash. From there I just cured myself until I had 100% TP. One final Vorpal Blade ended the fight and I was uncapped to lvl75!
