Dancer as a subjob?

Question for all you lucky people with the expansion who have dancer :P

How do you think Dancer would work as a subjob for some of the higher TP gaining jobs? (Specifically Drg :P )

I've been reading that in order to keep the Drain Samba active on the monster, you have to hit the mob every 5 seconds, and due to the wording on Wiki, it sounds like the Dancer or /Dnc has to be the one to hit it every 5 seconds to keep the enfeeble on the mob.

I could be wrong, but the formula for weapon delay is 1 second = 60 delay timer correct?

Which means the delay for a medium delay two handed weapon would be about 480/60 = 8 seconds or so.

Which seems like you won't be able to keep Drain Samba on the mob :/

Is this correct or am I figuring this wrong?

You have to keep hitting it to keep the Daze active.

The Samba is a buff you cast on yourself. As long as the Samba is in effect, even if the daze is gone your next attack will trigger the Daze again.

Idk if it'll make a good subjob. You won't have access to any powerful dances until 60+ at which point you'll probably want more offensive subs and to use your TP for WS.

DNC seems like it was built as a main really (While SCH is very SJ oriented)
