Im thinking of joing ffxi again and just wanted some questions aswered

1) Last time i played was last year, what are the main big changes since then?

2) Does LFP still take up alot of time?

3) This game is a fair few years old now, is there still enough low level player? or are everyone 75?

4) Whats the currency problem like? i remember when i played everything for gill was way too high of a price, Is this still the same?

I think the currency problem's been addressed, but I've only been playing since around March and had to take a break between May and November - so actually I'm still pretty low-level myself, if that answers at least two of your questions. Even high level players have jobs they're still leveling in the Dunes.

Usually depends on what is in demand at the moment. Certain jobs stay LFP for a long time, while others do not.

Usually depends on what is in demand at the moment. Certain jobs stay LFP for a long time, while others do not.

Lots of low level players all the time. You may even get stuck with RMT leveling! They always come back after a good banning. :)

Currency is not an issue purchasing items as much. It's the making of gil that will hinder your progress, however just make sure you hold on to everything usually. Don't buy stuff at AH, check online to see where you can purchase something as opposed to the AH, they will generally list places to purchase it from stores that will be less cost than what is sold in the AH.
