Extra Beastmans Banners

Whilst checking the camp of panzer percivor on the eastern side of the map I noticed a beastmens banner that wasn't there the last 10 visits I have done to this area (see pic), whats it for? Region was under control of sabdoria and a sandorian guard was at the OP.

That's for the expedition missions you get at your nation's guard.

You'll see one at the first set of cliffs in qufim too.

Yup normal Expaditionary force banners. You sign up go to them and fight off the beastmen. Only ever seen one group (besides myself) ever do oen in 4 years.

I tried a pick up expedition once. Man, what a horror show. I'm really not surprised that they aren't done more often. The reward just doesn't cut the time investment and people that know each other well can spend their time doing better things.

Shame really, until we all got totally hosed it was pretty fun.

That banner has been there since at least 2004. I used to camp Panzer Percival all the time.

Yeah, as Murphie said, they've been for a while now. There are currently two EF LS's on Lakshmi that I know about. They do them usually on Saturday night or early Sunday morning since that's when they're actually useful for conquest tally.

I have a few of the items, but I've never gone and done one. Wish I could mobilize a few people, but as Kuro said, they're extreme rare as everybody is more busy/caught up in HNM, Dynamis, Limbus, and other activities.

Man, those were fun. I actually remember BRP organizing a few of them way back when and just having a lot of fun with them.

Dang, you've never seen an EF banner before? I run across them more times than I care to remember.

They'll appear somewhat randomly in any number of spots across a zone. There's usually always one up, just gotta find em.
