Returning but can't world transfer?

I was convinced by some friends to reactivate my account. I quit playing like 3 years ago. I used the return to van'diel to get a new account and restore my old characters.

The problem is, I can't do a world transfer because i had to make new content ID's. I don't want to return if I can't play on the server with my friends without starting over.

Has anyone been able to do a world transfer in a situation similar to mine? I am still waiting to contact POL since I could not over the weekend. But I kinda want to know if it is futile or not before I waste my time.

I believe when you use the return campaign, you have to wait 3 months before using the World Transfer service. You can transfer, just not right away.

Well if thats the case, then that settles the question on if I was going to actualy play. I'm not playing for 3 months without my friends, and I'm not starting over. *sigh*

I used the Return Campaign and was able to transfer worlds right away.
