So over the last few weeks myself and another RDM have duoed Fenrir for fun and helping others, got to the point where I would actually say its not a challenge anymore. (but hey, that's the fun thing about fights like this and sky, you think you have it down to a T and then the mob rapes you so hard...)

Annnyway, I am going to try solo this weekend - if nothing more, just as a gauge for myself to see how far I get.

Problem is, I have had loads of people asking me if there can come to leech the win for whatever reason. I dont have a problem with this, but:

1) I want this to be a true solo - no outside help obviously
2) I dont want any interference etc

I was wondering, could we enter as a PT and then I disband - if I were to win, would they all get the key item as well? I could also stick /blockaid on as well.

I don't think it is possible - also, if it goes wrong Fen will see them and kill them. You will need the full area to kite through, so there is nowhere to hide.

Personally, if I were you, I would do it solo on the qt first. LS off, invis up, turn status to away. But, you know me.

Hmm if there is no way for me to do it with them without the risk of interference then I will do it without them for now, I can always repeat for them if needed.

I need someone to open the damn 3 mages gate though still, and possibly a raise too after :P

Might stick to the original plan and have Yodzy come with me to open the gate and raise. Maybe have him come NIN/WHM so if it all goes pear shaped, he can MG (save the risk of RR being dispelled) and R1 me outside.

I can always come and sit outside - and I have the Portal charm to get through the gate. R III makes all the pain go away.

I'd also suggest doing the Food for Thought series of quests. It takes a wee bit of time, but will give you a Rhinostery Certificate, which will allow you access to the Canal through Windy Walls. Starts here.

Yar R3 would be nice <3 - Its just timing stuff with you is incredibly difficult, especially at the weekend. You are always soo busy!

I wanna time it with Iceday too just to make things worse.
