Scythe getting better?

Just curious if you sexy bsts have given scythe a second look after the 2h update and found that it is much better than before? I have yet to complete my bst quest so I am unable to find out for myself. I know axe is the skill we are best at but with all the changes, should I think about leveling scythe along with my axe during the lower levels?

I haven't tried it yet. Though I do intend to. ...of course, I'm going to skill up on all the weapons that my bst can use....

...of course, I wouldn't be able to tell you how it differs since the 2h update.

I wouldn't worry about keeping Scythe skilled up along with Axe. Scythe WSs suck for the most part. When you solo, you'll find yourself pulling hate too easily just with normal melee attacks using Scythe.

Well, before the mid 20s, it's easy to pull hate from your pet regardless of what you're wielding. My experiences have been from even in the 40s and 50s, where walking the hate line while meleeing alongside your pet is quite manageable.

Currently, I'm still wearing 2 to 3 pieces of Crow/Raven gear with -enmity while I TP. And even just using axe/shield, there are times when I pull hate. With the recent buffing given to 2 handed weapons, I shudder to think what kind of hate management issues I would have with a Scythe.

Well, Scythe might be worth a second look... in pt anyways.
I would try it out if i wasnt at lvl 66 with a skill of 0, lol.
I am farming for a while though so I may try to skill up a little bit.
Anyone try it in pt? Think it would be better then 2 axes?
If anyone can try it out and lets us know how it goes...I would be very interested in it.

Do I think melee damage from a Scythe might better than 2 Axes? Maybe.

Do I think WS damage from Scythe WSs will better than Rampage? No way.
