View Full Version : What future Final Fantasy "staples" and mini-games can we expect in WotG?

The time during then Treasures of Aht'Urghan Expansion introduced familiar Final Fantasy activities such as Chocobo Breeding, Racing, Hot-and-Cold and a 100 level dungeon in the form of Nyzul Isle Assault. Additionally, Pankration and Venture Roll were also added.

Pankration in particular has been one of my favorite ways to pass the time while waiting for groups and other events, so I'd certainly enjoy seeing more of such content. Nyzul Isle I also enjoy based on the past 100-Dungeons of other FF games :)

Card games have been a past element of Final Fantasy games. FFVI, FFVII, FFVIII, FFX-2 and Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales also had some other notable, fun mini-games. So are there any plans to add games in the vein of Tetra Master, Triple Triad, Sphere Break or Gunner's Gauntlet during WotG?

Idk about Tetra master, since you can already subscribe to that as is >_> (though an in game card game would be cool)

Also, have you seen Campaign? It looks like we've got plenty more assault-ish style events coming but on a besieged-level scale ^_^

Personally I'd like to see some more activities like assault that can be done either solo or with a single partner. Mostly because there are times where getting even a few people for 1 assault or BC etc can be a hassle. Besides, a handful of new solo/duo activities is hardly breaking the "spirit" of the game.

Er, why is this in the general forum now? I could have sworn I asked it in the "Ask SE Questions" forum.

Because we'll be finding out within a couple weeks of asking it?

Either way, general forum is a much better place for it.

Then some mod agrees with me.

Or I am god and I am exerting my influence to move threads I dislike.

Could be either one really.

I can't find any record of this thread being moved. I'll just put it back in Ask SE until someone corrects me.
