I haven't seen much...does no one really like this site or what? this site roxxorz so far...

I'm looking for some lvl 4-ish friends to party with so i dont die all by my lonesome in East and West Sarutabaruta(sp?)

I'm currently a lvl 4 BLM soon to be lvl 5 i just started playing 2 days ago after ditching WoW and I fricken love this game already...

It's more that nobody cares about servers on FFXIO. Our community isn't big enough to really organize things through the server forums, and our community would rather just talk to each other instead of splitting off into factions.

Either way, I think we have three or four people on bahamut, I'm sure they'll be happy to help, although the likelihood of anyone being at lv4 is unlikely. Someone might have an unused job they could team up, though, although most people wait until 15-20 before they get a party.

one tip, from a blm to another, don't bother trying to use your spells at such a low level. Get a good quality staff from the AH, keep your armor decent and just whack the shit out of easy prey mobs and you'll do much better.

I seem to be dying alot over not being far enuff when i cast my spells...then my casts just keep getting interrupted...then i die...i'm not all that great just yet but i still love it...even when i lvld down to lvl 3...

QFT. You'll waste hours of time getting to level 10 if you use all your MP fighting one or two mobs and then resting. Just run around and beat the hell out of EP mobs.

i do i usually just poison and staff attack through like 5 mobs then rest then repeat

I could just run from mob to mob, casting Stone over and over again until I was out of MP. Then I'd have to rest, but that hardly takes any time at all in the single digits. Wash, rinse, repeat.

BLM was easily the fastest 1-10 I've had on just about any job. Except maybe MNK.

Maybe if you've got your Black Magic maxed out from a previous job, and have good INT and +MP equip.

When you start as just a BLM, it's quite a different story.

No. When I first started Murphie. BLM was the first job I leveled, and I didn't have a sub. I used starter gear.

You have the MP, you may as well use it ... that said, it's not worth trying to cast while the mob is hitting you until you manage to get your timing down. Single-digit BLM isn't the time to try to learn that.

It's not my intention to be contrary, but seriously. Unless you are really terrible at the game, you shouldn't have any problems getting a spell off solo. If you find that it's hard to cast when the mob is beating on you, then you learn to stand the hell back before you engage, and you learn how to avoid interruption.

If single digits aren't the time to learn that, I'm not sure when would be.

Now when I'm fighting like the rarabs that say "decent challenge" i start as far as possible cast blind followed by poison then right after it attacks use stone as much as possible
