OK, I just read up on this mostly quest I clearly remember not having to deal with any sort of pressure switches or triggers to get to the objective when helping others on this NM, wasn't there another way to get there minus needing all these different people to get there?

You can get past having to do the switches if someone else has recently been down there.

In order to open the Altepa gate, you have to hit the switches. Once you get to the gate, you can tell all the switches have been flipped because you can see their status by the door.

Now once you're behind the Altepa gate, it can be opened as many times as you'd like. So somebody (Read: Person who needs the fight) does all the annoying leg work, then when everybody else shows up, they just walk right in. Kill mobs roaming around, pop the Scorp, win.

Took me like 3 hours to get everybody to the switches, then get them to the right places and then the fight took all of 5 seconds. 2 Predator Claws, & a 1600 Spiral Hell and it was dead.

Yeah I had to run around for this NM, and the fight was stupidly easy.

Guess its luck, if someone before you has already gone in.

Stick a mule behind the door and charge a fee for people to walk straight in. :)

I got lucky and had an LS member with a mule there. :)

I'm just gonna leave Foobar ramming against the door while I'm out doing errands or sleeping, it seems people pass through often enough that I can just let them do all the work while I'm out or sleeping.

Ah, the perks of having another character with disposable EXP.

It was just annoying to watch the group I had fall apart when people found out you had to work to open the door.

As I recall, there are Antica that are EP to Lv.75s that will agro around the door; but I don't remember how close they get to the door though. You may be able to get in the door that way, but you may also wake up to Foobar standing at his home point too.

I'll put reraise on first. He's a BRD, he can walk off the EXP loss

When the question pops up asking if you want to accept, does the HP time stop and you don't have to worry about HP'n? Never thought about this. I just assumed it could still HP you.

The Home Point timer would keep going, IIRC. That said, I don't know for sure if it would actually HP you if you stay K.O.'ed.

Oh, I'd still HP, but currently I have little reason to stray too far from home right now, so I'm pretty sure I wouldn't miss the chance to raise myself and zone if needed.
