Since it's been awhile since I saw a decently funny thread in a while, here's some fodder for the masses:
What's the weirdest/zaniest/funniest thing you ever saw in your chat log? It doesn't even have to be a mistell, although I'm sure that's where most of the good ones are going to come from.
From an old dynamis linkshell of mine, in the middle of Windy or Sandy, I forget which.
<Linkshell>"I gotta go, someone just stole my trash can."
Seen in public /say outside the fishing guild shortly after the fishing update:
Random person : "*puts two fingers down her panties* Oh shit!"
(Shortly thereafter followed by MT)
Oh! as far as mistells go, this one made me wonder:
(Party Member) "That was like the worst thing ever to mistell into linkshell...." "umm...mt."
Seen in windurst, while I was by the auction house, in shout no less:
"I seem to have hidden my <joy> <sword> in a hole somewhere..."
Oddly enough, NOT followed by "MT" O_o;;;
While I was LFP as a 60+ WHM, from someone I didn't know and wasn't a mule:
>> "Hey man bring your thf today, I'm going to try to get a whm."
A moment later:
>> "MT"
A moment later:
>> "By the way, <Experience Points> <Party> <Do you need it?>"
Oh and one of my own spectacular gems:
/l "OMG I FREAKIN HATE THIS STUPID ASS NIN IN MY PT, he can't keep his shadows up and he can't hold hate and...(etc, etc, etc)...."
