Hello All,

I know that a lot of you on here are masters of the RDM ways. I'm level 37 RDM/ 18 WHM currently. I haven't been able to afford Dispel yet. Could you please let me know where is the best place for me to farm at this stage?

Also, in your master opinion, what are the best BCNMs 30 cap where a RDM is involved? I have pretty good level 30 equips and maxed magic (-divine) at RDM 30.

There are numerous topics all over this site with regard to making gil at different levels. Especially the lower levels. Do a search, and follow the instructions therein.

Dispel (http://wiki.ffxiclopedia.org/Dispel)is somewhere between 60-80k from an NPC. It's not hard to raise that amount of gil in a short time. Heck, it's 50k on the AH on your server. Just buy it there.

I don't know of any 30 cap BCNMs I would personally bother to do as a RDM.

Silk Thread & Beechips. Strap on /THF and go to Sarutabaruta. Spend a few hours, should be able to make enough for Dispel easily.

BCNM20 Charming Trio at Balga's Dias
Mannequin Hands 100% drop
Kill order: Pepper > Prune > Phoedme. I've always done this with a supertank strategy. Turn off autotarget first. Go in with two good DD, one of which should be able to take hits well, like a war or pld. Tank runs in, gets aggro, vokes Pepper and the two melee start going to town on it. So long as nobody touches Prune or Phoedme they will not go after the healer while you're fighting Pepper.

Rdm is good in any of those.

Crustecean Conundrum and Die by the sword were my favorite when I had first started. I made millions off them before I ever hit 75. Though back then mannequin body would go for 400-500k and now it's only 200. But I guess when you calculate inflation it's not so bad.

When you do go I would suggest just getting 2 LS members that you can trust who would want to run it constantly. Don't ever go with random people or people who say "Your orb your drop" thats a sure way to blow 100 seals and get nothing to show for it.

The setup we used for Die by the Sword was rdm/blm (me) pld/mnk war/mnk. I would kite one while the pld and war killed the other 2, each of them tanking a different one but killing on one. It would also work well with 2pld. The reason we didn't use /nin is because you end up spending half your time recasting utsu.
